A small clan nestled within the glowing trees of the Starwood Strand. The dragons of the Duskwyrm Coven are enigmatic and eclectic, and rarely are more than a few faces seen by outside eyes. Any wanderers deemed worthy or in need of aid, the Coven houses. These vagabonds are nurtured and trained to discover their skills and purpose. Many of these wanderers choose to heed their learnings, and embark to combat the Shade alongside the deities.
Where the remnants of past clans lay, a new clan took root among their ashes. The wandering pearlcatcher who had known no land of her own had encountered a young Imperial named Libra, who said she knew the secrets of the stars. Sociable and willing to share her knowledge, the Imperial welcomed her into the small band of dragons she called family, and gave the Pearlcatcher her name: Lamia. This handful of dragons is the basis of Duskwyrm Coven's beginnings, and they settled in where the land had once known a prosperous clan, marking the birth of Duskwyrm Coven.
The clan had humble beginnings, but over time, many new dragons would settle into the clan. While some would stay, many of these dragons left to find other lands, and some sought the highest honor of exaltation, and joined the deities in their battle against the Shade. As more and more of these dragons came, the clan began to shape itself. Of the founding members, only the stargazing Libra and the wise Lamia remained, and as more dragons found permanent homes within the clan, the group was more organized, a leader had emerged, and many of them shared common traits. The Coven began to turn away outsiders, and eventually, only those they deemed worthy were allowed to join the ranks of the clan.
Around this time, a hierarchy began to form, with Lamia becoming the matriarch, and the wiser and more skilled dragons earning rank and respect beneath her. Duskwyrm Coven is still a small and humble clan, and their short history has seen little disaster.
